Craniosacral Osteopathy was developed as a subfield of osteopathy in the 1930s by William Sutherland.<\/p>\n

It is a gentle manual treatment method that primarily focuses on the rhythmic impulses expressed through the cerebrospinal fluid, the motility of the brain, the membranes, and the mobility of the cranial bones and the sacrum.<\/p>\n

Through gentle, mindful touch, the body’s rhythms are listened to\u2014their quality, frequency, and expression\u2014to then support the tissue, release blockages, and improve the ability for self-regulation through targeted, non-invasive techniques.<\/p>\n
